Prospective Students

Prospective students must be actively participating in studio lessons with a Sforza teacher.  Sforza Suzuki Strings meets bi-weekly on a fall and spring semester schedule.  We perform numerous concerts and events in the greater D.C. area.

Tuition

Yearly Family Registration Fee: $25/year

Semester Tuition (Due in August and January):

  • Pre-Twinkle :$200/semester
  • Book 1 and Low-Strings: $225/semester
  • Book 2 and above: $250/semester

Monthly Tuition: (10 installments due August-May)

  • Pre-Twinkle: $40/month
  • Book 1 and Low-Strings: $45/month
  • Book 2 and above: $50/month

Family Discounts*:

  • 1st Child: Full Price
  • 2nd Child: 10% discount
  • 3rd Child: 20% discount
  • 4th+ Child: 30% discount

*First child is the most expensive, second child is the second most expensive and so on.  

Attendance Policy

"Learning with Other Children - In addition to private lessons, children participate in regular group lessons and performance at which they learn from and are motivated by each other." - The Suzuki Association of the Americas

Regular attendance at studio lessons and group classes is essential and required for participation in Sforza events.  Students who are not prepared or have missed in excess of three group classes may not be allowed to perform in Sforza events.
